Job Title: Product Manager, Platform
Role Summary: Lead strategy and execution for a next‑generation drone delivery platform, integrating cloud architecture, APIs, and regulatory compliance across hardware, software, and operations.
Expectations: Deliver scalable, reliable, and compliant platform solutions; drive cross‑functional collaboration; translate market insight into product roadmaps; manage full lifecycle from concept to end‑of‑life.
Key Responsibilities
- Own cloud platform architecture, APIs, backend services, data pipelines, and operational tooling.
- Define and champion product vision, strategy, and roadmap for drone delivery platform, focusing on scalability, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and stakeholder interviews to identify product opportunities and set measurable goals.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, operations, and business teams to produce detailed specifications (user stories, acceptance criteria).
- Manage product lifecycle: concept → launch → iteration → end‑of‑life.
- Communicate product value and status to internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead product launches, including positioning, marketing materials, and training.
- Monitor and analyze KPIs to assess product success and inform future decisions.
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations (FAA, EASA) and coordinate with regulatory affairs for certifications.
Required Skills
- 5+ years product management in software, with proven track record on complex, cross‑functional products.
- Strong experience with B2B integrations, APIs, or platform products.
- Technical aptitude: cloud architectures, distributed systems, API design, operational trade‑offs.
- Experience managing products for internal (operations/control) and external (customer/partner) users.
- Ability to balance priorities across multiple product lines (B2B integrations, internal tools, core operations).
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Agile development methodology familiarity.
Preferred Skills
- Background in robotics, drones, IoT, or hardware‑software systems.
- Experience in fleet management, real‑time control systems, or regulated/safety‑critical industries.
- Familiarity with developer‑facing products and cloud platforms.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Preferred: Product Management or Agile certifications (e.g., CSPO, Scrum Master).
