**Job Title**
Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst (Contract/Temp)
**Role Summary**
Provide accurate, timely financial and commercial analytics to support strategic decision‑making. Integrate finance and sales functions by delivering budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and sales performance insights, enabling leadership to gauge revenue drivers, pipeline health, and growth opportunities.
**Expectations**
* Contract/ temporary engagement.
* Deliver monthly financial variance reports and yearly forecasting updates.
* Own sales analytics dashboards and support pipeline management.
* Communicate insights to finance, sales, and executive teams.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term planning.
2. Build and maintain dynamic financial models and scenario analyses.
3. Produce monthly variance analysis and performance reports for management.
4. Analyze revenue, margin, operating expenses, and key business drivers.
5. Translate financial outcomes into actionable insights for leadership.
6. Own recurring reporting on sales performance, pipeline, bookings, and conversion metrics.
7. Develop and maintain dashboards covering pipeline health, win rates, sales cycle, new vs. expansion revenue, rep productivity, and territory performance.
8. Collaborate with Sales leadership to ensure data accuracy, alignment of activity with forecasts, and meaningful interpretation of results.
**Required Skills**
* Minimum 3 years FP&A or financial analysis experience.
* Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and data‑discipline skills.
* Advanced Excel (VBA, pivot tables, advanced functions).
* Experience with Power‑BI or comparable BI platforms.
* Familiarity with CRM data (Salesforce) and finance systems (NetSuite).
* Ability to translate complex data into clear, non‑technical business insights.
* Excellent written and verbal communication, self‑directed, organized, and collaborative across functions.
**Required Education & Certifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
* Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA) preferred but not mandatory.
