Job title: IT Business Manager
Role Summary:
Lead and execute a portfolio of technology initiatives, manage day‑to‑day IT operations, oversee project delivery, drive long‑term IT strategy, manage vendors, ensure information security and compliance, and provide escalation‑level technical support.
Expactations:
- Deliver multiple concurrent IT projects on schedule and within budget.
- Translate business goals into a clear IT roadmap and standards.
- Lead vendor selection, contracts, and performance monitoring.
- Maintain security posture, compliance, and incident readiness.
- Provide hands‑on support for networking, Wi‑Fi, servers, and end‑user issues.
- Communicate status, risks, and milestones to executive stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- **Project & Program Leadership** – Build detailed project plans, roadmaps, resources, and risk mitigation; manage cross‑functional collaboration; report to executives.
- **IT Strategy & Roadmap Ownership** – Develop and maintain long‑term strategy aligned with business objectives; evaluate emerging technologies; set best‑practice standards.
- **Technical Vendor Management** – Select, contract, onboard, and evaluate vendors for infrastructure, cloud, SaaS, and security; ensure SLA compliance and cost control.
- **Information Security & Compliance** – Oversee policies, access controls, audits, vulnerability mitigation, and incident response.
- **Hands‑On Technical Support** – Escalation‑level troubleshooting for network infrastructure, Wi‑Fi, servers, cloud, and end‑user hardware/software.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of IT project management or leadership experience.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent technology projects.
- Strong knowledge of networking, servers, cloud, and Wi‑Fi architecture.
- Experience with information security frameworks and compliance.
- Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management.
- Effective vendor relationship and contract management.
- Tactical versatility – capable of leading strategic sessions or troubleshooting incidents.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
- Project Management certifications (PMP, Agile/Scrum, ITIL, Six Sigma) – preferred.
- Hands‑on technical certifications (Network+, CCNA, Microsoft, AWS, etc.) – preferred.
