Job Description: Job title: Associate, Legal Role Summary: Bilingual legal associate (intern) supporting the French legal team in an innovative SaaS environment. Duties include drafting, reviewing, and validating commercial contracts; aiding negotiation; maintaining contractual workflow; conducting legal research; and monitoring French and EU regulatory developments. Expactations: - Minimum 6‑month internship with a valid internship agreement. - Master 1 or Master 2 in Law (French university) or ongoing law studies. - French native speaker; professional proficiency in written and spoken English. Key Responsibilities: - Draft and review commercial agreements (licensing, SaaS, services, NDAs, data processing). - Provide support during contract negotiations and coordinate with internal stakeholders. - Manage contractual lifecycle: execution, execution monitoring, and documentation updates. - Conduct legal and regulatory monitoring (French law, EU directives, GDPR, competition law). - Assist in pre‑litigation matters and compliance initiatives. Required Skills: - Excellent legal drafting and analytical abilities in French contract law. - Strong understanding of EU regulations, GDPR, and commercial contract principles. - Proven communication, coordination, and organizational skills in both French and English. - Ability to interpret and apply French and EU legal frameworks.
