Job Description
**Job Title** Assistant Manager **Role Summary** The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager in driving sales, maintaining service excellence, and leading a high‑performance team. The role combines operational oversight, staff development, and visual merchandising to ensure the store meets financial targets and brand standards. **Expectations** - Consistently meet or exceed store sales and KPI targets. - Uphold all company policies, compliance, and brand presentation. - Maintain a motivated, trained, and customer‑focused team. - Act as the primary liaison between the store, store manager, and head office. **Key Responsibilities** - Deliver excellent customer service and mentor staff to model service standards. - Set, monitor, and review team KPIs and performance plans. - Manage store operations, stock deliveries, and inventory accuracy. - Coordinate visual merchandising, promotions, and store layout. - Maintain staff schedules, adapt to trading patterns, and support HR in recruitment and onboarding. - Conduct regular one‑to‑one meetings and store performance reviews. - Foster client relationships and repeat business. - Ensure compliance with brand guidelines, policy adherence, and staff presentation. - Keep up to date with fashion trends and communicate insights to the team. **Required Skills** - Proven retail management experience, preferably in fashion. - Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to develop and achieve sales targets. - Composure in high‑pressure retail environments. - Knowledge of fashion trends and brand standards. - Organizational and analytical capabilities for KPI tracking and inventory management. - Excellent presentation and personal grooming aligned with brand expectations. **Required Education & Certifications** - High‑school diploma or equivalent; higher education in Business, Retail Management, or Fashion is advantageous. - No specific certifications required, though a professional training credential in retail leadership is welcomed.
