Job Title: Business Development Hunter Role Summary: Responsible for aggressively hunting new retail and B2B accounts across Canada, driving net‑new revenue by initiating outbound engagement (calls, emails, LinkedIn, AI‑driven outreach). Cultivates relationships with decision‑makers, presents the value proposition, and collaborates with account managers to scale and expand partnerships. Expectations: • High‑energy hunter: 50–100 proactive outreach attempts daily • Thrives on competition and results, with a strong focus on growth and accountability • Comfortable with cold calling, outbound sales, and meeting new prospects • Will possess a proven track record of opening new accounts and generating revenue growth Key Responsibilities: • Identify and engage untapped retailers and B2B customers across Canada • Own outbound activities: calls, emails, LinkedIn, video, and AI‑powered outreach • Build and maintain relationships with decision‑makers and influencers • Collaborate with account managers to uncover cross‑sell opportunities in existing accounts • Maintain a healthy pipeline, consistently moving deals forward • Stay informed on market trends, competitive positioning and emerging technologies Required Skills: • 3–4+ years of business development / sales experience, proven success as a hunter • Experience targeting consumer electronics, technology, or related sectors • Strong verbal and written communication, with confidence on phone and in‑person meetings • Self‑motivated, competitive, high‑expectation mindset • Expertise in modern sales tools, CRM systems, Google, Microsoft suites, and AI‑based prospecting and outreach platforms Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred) • Relevant sales certifications (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) considered an asset.
