**Job Title:** Senior Project Manager
**Role Summary:**
Leads planning, execution, and delivery of large‑scale mechanical construction projects (HVAC, plumbing, process piping) in commercial/industrial settings. Oversees multiple concurrent projects, ensures profitability, client satisfaction, and operational excellence while mentoring project teams.
**Expactations:**
- Manage 8‑10+ years of mechanical construction experience, delivering multi‑million‑dollar projects on time and within budget.
- Provide strategic client liaison and executive point of contact.
- Drive pre‑construction scope definition, estimating, and constructability reviews.
- Maintain financial performance, risk control, and cash‑flow monitoring.
- Travel to project sites and regional offices as required.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Direct multiple high‑value mechanical projects from pre‑construction through close‑out.
- Develop and control project budgets, schedules, procurement plans, and manpower allocation.
- Review/approve contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and billing.
- Lead Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers; mentor and develop talent.
- Coordinate with clients, general contractors, engineers, field leadership, and safety managers.
- Monitor productivity, cost, risk, and quality metrics; resolve design coordination and logistics issues.
- Support Lean construction, prefabrication, BIM/VDC integration, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
**Required Skills:**
- Expert knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems and construction sequencing.
- Strong financial acumen: budgeting, forecasting, contract compliance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and project‑management platforms (e.g., Procore, Viewpoint).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
- Familiarity with design‑build, CMAR, BIM/VDC, and prefabrication strategies.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- OSHA 30‑hour certification.
- Preferred: Design‑build or CMAR experience; additional certifications (e.g., PMP) are a plus.
