Job Description
Job Title: Software Engineer Role Summary: Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of high‑impact product features, building reliable, scalable software systems primarily in Go or Python. Expectations: • 5+ years professional software development focused on scalable systems. • Proficient in Go or Python, with strong software architecture and system‑design knowledge. • Experienced with Agile/Scrum methodologies, version control (Git), and code review practices. • Able to write clean, efficient, maintainable production‑grade code and communicate technical concepts clearly. Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop scalable, high‑performance components in Go/Python. • Own the complete development cycle: coding, unit/integration testing, documentation, and deployment. • Conduct rigorous code reviews, mentor team members, and maintain code quality standards. • Collaborate with product, UX, and operations teams to translate requirements into effective designs. • Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot production services to ensure uptime and performance. • Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to long‑term system design decisions. Required Skills: • 5+ years in professional software engineering. • Deep expertise in Go and/or Python, distributed system design, microservices, and data pipelines. • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, Git, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). • Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem‑solving abilities. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). (Note: Remote work is supported.)
