Job Description
Job Title: Project Manager, IT PMO (12‑month contract) Role Summary: Lead the planning, execution, and governance of IT PMO projects. Ensure projects meet scope, budget, and timeline, coordinate resources, manage risks and changes, produce status reporting, and maintain documentation in line with established PMO frameworks. Expectations: - Deliver projects on time, within budget, and within defined scope. - Maintain compliance with PMO governance and financial processes. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders, sponsors, and delivery partners. - Provide accurate status updates and risk/issue reporting. - Operate independently while collaborating cross‑functionally. - Adhere to safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: - Define project scope, objectives, and feasibility with stakeholders. - Develop detailed project plans and track progress using PM tools. - Secure and allocate resources; manage internal and external teams. - Control scope, schedule, and cost changes; assess impact. - Identify, monitor, and mitigate project risks and issues. - Produce regular status reports and maintain project documentation. - Interface with global IT organization and PMO for design and compliance. - Work within financial and contractual frameworks. - Attend and support project activities outside regular hours when required. Required Skills: - Proven experience in IT project management and governance. - Strong stakeholder and communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks with high attention to detail. - Problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities. - Proficiency in MS Project, Office 365, and PMO tools. - Fluent in written and spoken English. - Self‑starter with teamwork orientation. Required Education & Certifications: - Relevant project management qualification (PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP preferred). - ITIL v3 Foundation (additional ITIL Service Strategy, Design, Transition, Operation, CSI). - Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Agile; PMI‑ACP desirable. - Certifications in PFQ, PMQ valued.
