Job Description: Job Title: Founding Engineer Role Summary: Lead full‑stack engineering for AI‑driven aircraft inspection and maintenance products. Own system design, development, deployment, and continuous improvement from concept to production. Expactations: Deliver end‑to‑end solutions in a fast‑paced, high‑ownership startup environment. Drive product strategy, architecture, and quality with minimal guidance. Ensure safe, scalable, and maintainable code that users rely on daily. Key Responsibilities: - Design and build scalable REST/APIs using FastAPI and Python. - Develop and maintain front‑end interfaces with TypeScript and React. - Engineer production‑grade AI/ML modules (PyTorch, LLMs from OpenAI/Anthropic). - Construct MLOps pipelines (CI/CD, monitoring, data versioning) on Azure and Docker. - Build data pipelines, storage, and analytics to support product features. - Iterate rapidly on features, gather user feedback, and release improvements. - Write documentation, enforce coding standards, and mentor cross‑functional teams. Required Skills: - 2+ years of software development in a product‑driven setting. - Strong backend expertise (Python, FastAPI) and API design. - Front‑end proficiency (TypeScript, React) with UI/UX consideration. - Hands‑on AI/ML production experience (PyTorch, LLMs). - Familiarity with MLOps tools and CI/CD for ML and traditional systems. - Cloud (Azure) and containerization (Docker) knowledge. - Ability to work independently, make critical decisions, and thrive in ambiguity.
