Job Description
**Job Title** Regional Sales Director – West **Role Summary** Lead and expand the employer benefits portfolio within the West region, focusing on broker, TPA, and direct employer relationships. Drive new business development, close contracts, oversee initial implementation, and provide ongoing client support to achieve a minimum annual pipeline of 20,000 members. **Expectations** - Generate a minimum of 20,000 members per year. - Maintain on‑site presence in the assigned territory for at least 30 % of the working week. - Adhere to all regulatory and company training requirements. - Fully utilize the CRM system for all prospect and account activities. **Key Responsibilities** - Prospect and identify new enterprise clients through cold calling, direct mail, digital outreach, and industry events. - Conduct initial and follow‑up meetings with brokers, TPAs, and employer decision‑makers. - Negotiate and secure contracts and operating agreements, ensuring all administrative and reporting requirements are met. - Partner with implementation teams to onboard new accounts, including employee orientation and plan setup. - Maintain ongoing client communication, addressing inquiries and coordinating renewals with Account Management. - Develop and execute strategic regional sales plans to surpass yearly targets. - Collaborate with marketing to align outreach campaigns and obtain timely feedback. - Participate in regular regional sales meetings and contribute to marketing program design. - Ensure compliance with all mandatory and regulatory training programs. **Required Skills** - Exceptional verbal and written communication; ability to deliver persuasive presentations and instructional content. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM data entry. - Strong negotiation and closing capabilities; tactful sales approach. - In‑depth knowledge of the pharmacy benefit management (PBM) and managed care industry. - Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline. **Required Education & Certifications** - Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. - Preferred: MBA in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. *All applicants must successfully pass a drug test and complete any position‑specific eligibility checks.*
