Job Description
Job title: Data Analyst Internship Role Summary: Intern will support the PMO project manager in data-driven initiatives across production, quality, and supply chain functions. Responsibilities include collecting, cleansing, and analyzing datasets; creating and maintaining dynamic dashboards in Power BI and Excel; identifying trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities; and collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into actionable decisions. Expactations: Candidate is a student or recent graduate pursuing or holding a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Expected to demonstrate strong analytical skills, comfort with data manipulation, and the ability to communicate findings clearly. Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive in learning new tools. Key Responsibilities: - Collect, clean, and validate data from production, quality, and supply‑chain systems. - Design, build, and update interactive dashboards (Power BI, Excel) to monitor key metrics. - Analyze datasets to uncover patterns, detect outliers, and surface actionable insights. - Work with business stakeholders to interpret results and support decision‑making. - Contribute to the automation and enhancement of existing analytical tools and processes. Required Skills: - Advanced Excel proficiency; basic SQL knowledge. - Familiarity with Power BI and at least one programming language for data analysis (Python or R). - Strong data‑wrangling and analytical capabilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Collaborative team player, curious, rigorous, and self‑driven. Required Education & Certifications: - Current enrollment or recent graduation in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable discipline. - No specific certifications required, but knowledge of data visualization and statistical tools is advantageous.
