Fleet CCTV and Security LTD was founded by Daniel Hersey as he wanted to create a security company that prides itself on great service and quality. Not only for commercial projects he felt there was a need for domestic security systems to provide peace off mind in every case.

Daniel has brought a wealth of experience with him in the installation of all security system equipment for domestic and commercial properties and identified the opportunity for it’s use of CCTV on all vehicles. Dan quickly identified all the issues with competitors’ products and was able to solidify the product offerings of Fleet CCTV and Security and begin to build the company’s client base, emphasizing the quality of Fleet CCTV and Security’s offerings when compared to competitors.

Job Description

**Job Title:** Security Engineer **Role Summary:** Design, install, and maintain CCTV, access‑control, and intrusion alarm systems for client sites. Perform site surveys, integrate with other security platforms, and provide technical support while ensuring system performance and client satisfaction. **Expectations:** - Deliver turnkey security solutions on time and within specification. - Maintain high‑detail documentation and follow safety standards. - Interact professionally with clients and internal teams, working independently or collaboratively. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and build CCTV systems for varied applications. - Conduct site surveys to determine optimal camera and equipment placement. ‑ Install, configure, and troubleshoot CCTV cameras, DVRs, and related hardware. ‑ Integriate CCTV with intrusion detection and other security systems. ‑ Perform regular maintenance, inspections, and performance tuning of installed systems. ‑ Provide technical support and end‑user training for system operation. **Required Skills:** - Proven experience in security engineering, specifically CCTV and IDS. - Strong knowledge of computer networking, telecom systems, and related protocols. ‑ Ability to use power tools and handle structured‑cabling installation. ‑ Familiarity with hardware components used in CCTV systems. ‑ Excellent problem‑solving, detail‑oriented, and communication skills. ‑ Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent experience. ‑ Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or similar) are preferred but not mandatory.
