Job Title: Project Cost Estimator Role Summary: Prepare detailed cost estimates for manufacturing and production projects, assess feasibility, evaluate material and equipment costs, time estimates, and coordinate with suppliers and production teams to ensure accurate pricing and optimization. Expectations: Deliver precise, technically grounded cost estimates aligned with project scopes; maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders; uphold rigorous standards for planning and documentation; support continuous improvement of cost estimation processes. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze project requests and determine feasibility. - Prepare material, equipment, labor, and equipment cost estimates, including price quotes, plans, and proposals. - Estimate production times using methods, processes, and resources. - Issue contracts to selected suppliers. - Collaborate with production teams to identify optimization opportunities. - Maintain accurate documentation and update estimation models. - Perform related tasks as directed by the department. Required Skills: - Mechanical aptitude and strong analytical abilities. - Detail-oriented, meticulous, and rigorous. - Excellent organizational and responsibility sense. - Effective interpersonal and team collaboration skills. - Proficiency reading technical drawings and CAD plans. - Numeric competence and experience with cost modeling. - Functional proficiency in English (oral and written). Required Education & Certifications: - Diploma in machining, welding, or a DEC in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, metallurgical engineering, or a related field. ---
