**Job Title:** Business Applications & Systems Analyst
**Role Summary:**
Design, develop, optimize, and support business, financial, and operational systems for a regulatory organization. Analyze requirements, prototype solutions, assess performance, and ensure seamless integration across platforms while driving operational efficiency and maximizing IT ROI.
**Expectations:**
- Leverage 7–9 years of experience in systems analysis and application lifecycle delivery.
- Deliver actionable insights, cost‑benefit analyses, and ROI assessments to inform strategic decisions.
- Provide end‑to‑end support, including training, troubleshooting, and continuous system improvement.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Partner with stakeholders to capture business, financial, and operational requirements and resolve system issues.
- Lead design and prototyping workshops to improve processes and information flow.
- Evaluate system effectiveness, recommend optimizations, and define scope, outcomes, and measurement criteria.
- Plan, design, develop, and implement new applications and enhancements.
- Research software/hardware solutions, guide procurement, and assess compatibility/interoperability.
- Prepare reports, system design proposals, and ROI analyses.
- Create system models, specifications, diagrams, and documentation for technical teams.
- Coordinate testing, end‑user reviews, and post‑implementation support.
- Deliver day‑to‑day operational support, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Automate processes and optimize system performance.
- Train users and mentor junior analysts.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
- Expertise in requirements gathering, business process mapping, workflow analysis, and systems modeling.
- Proficient in SQL, Python, PowerShell, JavaScript; review and guide development efforts.
- Knowledge of Windows Server, Windows 10/11, virtualized environments, and security considerations.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, cloud networking, and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Azure services, SharePoint, and enterprise ERP (e.g., Dynamics 365).
- Project management skills from planning through implementation.
- Excellent judgment, discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality handling.
- Team collaboration, customer service focus, and end‑user training capabilities.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Accounting, MIS, or related field.
- 7–9 years of relevant experience in software/hardware solution design, development, and implementation.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CBAP, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate) are advantageous.
