Job Description
**Job Title:** Junior Commercial Manager **Role Summary** Support end‑to‑end commercial management of customer and supplier contracts within an IT business, ensuring accurate documentation, compliance with commercial policies, and alignment with business objectives. **Expactations** - Execute contract lifecycle tasks from bid to close‑out. - Identify and flag commercial risks, obligations, and key terms. - Maintain accurate contract data and trackers. - Facilitate contract renewals, variations, and changes under senior guidance. - Collaborate closely with Sales, Legal, Finance, Delivery, and Procurement teams. - Assist in commercial reporting, invoicing, and margin tracking. - Escalate risks and opportunities promptly. **Key Responsibilities** - Review and analyze contracts for compliance and commercial viability. - Update and manage contract information in enterprise systems. - Coordinate contract changes, renewal negotiations, and variations. - Ensure contracts adhere to company commercial policies and governance frameworks. - Partner with cross‑functional teams to support contract delivery and performance. - Contribute to commercial forecasting, invoicing accuracy, and margin assessment. - Identify early‑stage issues, risks, and improvement opportunities; raise escalations. - Deliver reports on contract status, performance metrics, and key risks. **Required Skills** - Experience in commercial, contracts, finance, legal, or business support roles (including graduate or internship experience). - Basic understanding of commercial contract structure and operation. - Preferred exposure to technology/software commercial activities. - Strong attention to detail, organisational, and prioritisation skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication. - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. - Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with contract management systems is an advantage. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field. - Commercial contract or procurement certification desirable but not mandatory. ---
