Job Description
Job Title: Project Analyst / Change Analyst Role Summary: Senior analyst responsible for driving successful transformation initiatives across education, mining, technology, and regulated sectors. Functions at the nexus of strategy and execution, coordinating stakeholder engagement, documentation, governance, data analysis, and reporting to support program delivery and change adoption. Expectations: * Deliver structured, accurate, and actionable outputs that translate complex, ambiguous information into clear decisions. * Maintain rigorous documentation, timelines, and governance artifacts across multiple overlapping workstreams. * Balance executive communication with team‑level execution, ensuring clarity on scope, deliverables, and performance metrics. * Demonstrate independence and precision in a consulting, 1099 contract environment, managing multiple project components concurrently. Key Responsibilities * Conduct stakeholder analyses, impact assessments, and readiness evaluations for enterprise initiatives. * Capture and track meeting notes, decisions, risks, and action items in a central repository. * Maintain real‑time project schedules and dashboards using Smartsheet, Excel, or equivalent tools. * Create structured documentation – process maps, WBS, communications, training materials, and executive‑ready reports. * Support governance routines: PFRs, office memos, executive summaries, and adoption metric dashboards. * Assist with budget monitoring, purchase‑order review, and contract coordination. * Facilitate workshops, stakeholder sessions, and cross‑functional alignment meetings. * Provide analytical insights on adoption metrics to inform decision‑making and strategic adjustments. Required Skills * 3–8+ years in project, program, change, or business analysis roles. * Proven experience in enterprise transformation, system implementation, or operating‑model change. * Strong analytical, documentation, and organizational competencies. * Proficiency in Smartsheet, Excel, PowerPoint, and related collaboration tools. * Effective written and verbal communication across technical, operational, and executive audiences. * Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams with high precision. * Preferred consulting or 1099 contract experience; industry knowledge in higher education, mining, energy, healthcare, or regulated environments is an advantage. Required Education & Certifications * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related discipline (or equivalent experience). * Relevant certifications (PMP, CBAP, PMI‑ACP, Prosci Change Management, or similar) preferred.
