Job Description
**Job Title:** Head of GTM **Role Summary:** Senior leader responsible for converting founder‑driven strategy into a repeatable, enterprise‑grade go‑to‑market motion. Focuses on the Media & Publishing vertical, crafting differentiated positioning, messaging, and sales enablement to drive revenue impact. Acts as the strategic bridge between Marketing, Sales, and Product without owning sales quotas or operational cadence. **Expectations (First 90 Days):** - Deliver a clear Media & Publishing narrative. - Refine and document the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP). - Produce an enterprise messaging playbook. - Overhaul sales enablement materials. - Launch at least one vertical‑specific GTM initiative. **Key Responsibilities:** - Define and sharpen the Media & Publishing ICP. - Translate positioning into enterprise‑level messaging and narratives. - Create and distribute case studies that convert prospects. - Design and execute vertical playbooks (not ad‑hoc campaigns). - Align Marketing, Sales, and Product on messaging, positioning, and go‑to‑market strategy. - Ensure the company’s voice is distinct from generic verification tools. - Serve as the connective tissue across functions, influencing strategy without managing quota‑related tasks. **Required Skills:** - Proven GTM leadership at a growth‑stage SaaS company. - Strategic marketing and positioning expertise, especially in Media, Publishing, or MarTech. - Deep understanding of ICP development and vertical market dynamics. - Experience selling into Media/Publishing verticals. - Strong storytelling, communication, and influence skills; comfortable challenging founders. - Ability to translate strategy into actionable plans and measurable outcomes. - Remote‑work discipline and cross‑functional collaboration experience. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (required). - MBA or advanced degree (preferred). - Relevant certifications (e.g., Product Marketing, SaaS GTM) are a plus but not mandatory.
