Job Description
Job Title: Administrative Assistant, Marketing & Communications Role Summary: Supports marketing and communications operations, project coordination, and event logistics, ensuring brand alignment and efficient administrative processes. Expactations: Minimum 3+ years administrative experience in a professional environment; nonprofit sector experience preferred. Proven time management, multitasking, and discretion with sensitive information. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate cross-departmental projects via Asana, tracking timelines and resolving issues - Organize meetings, draft documentation, and manage shared communication channels (email, ticketing systems) - Oversee event logistics, including vendor coordination, material preparation, and on-site support for in-person/virtual events - Maintain digital and physical databases, promotional inventories, and brand assets - Track budgets, process financial transactions, and ensure compliance with brand standards - Support content distribution, data reporting, and stakeholder communication Required Skills: Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel), Asana, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint; database management; event coordination; written/verbal communication; customer service; data analysis. Required Education & Certifications: Associate degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent professional experience acceptable. Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Blackbaud/Raiser’s Edge) advantageous.
