Job Description: Job title: Project Officer Intern Role Summary: Assist the Program Director in daily management of SSA projects, coordinating technical, operational, and institutional stakeholders, and producing program reports and dashboards. Expectations: Work under supervision, learn SSA program operations, support project execution, develop reporting skills, and contribute to continuous improvement of governance practices. Key Responsibilities: - Support planning, scheduling, and follow‑up of multi‑work-package activities. - Develop and maintain project tools: dashboards, action trackers, risk registers, milestone trackers. - Compile and consolidate inputs from technical, commercial, and partner teams. - Monitor deliverables, deadlines, and dependencies; assist in corrective actions. - Produce periodic progress reports, KPIs, and management presentations. - Participate in improving reporting processes and governance. Required Skills: - Background in engineering, space studies, systems engineering, or related field. - Strong interest in SSA and space safety. - Knowledge of project management principles: planning, risk, milestones, deliverables. - Proficiency with project tools: Excel, PowerPoint, Confluence, Jira, MS Project or equivalent. - Analytical, organized, detail‑oriented. - Ability to structure complex information clearly. - Bilingual proficiency in English and French (written and verbal). Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, aerospace, space studies, systems engineering, or related discipline.
