Job Description: Job Title: Technical Specialist – SQL/PLSQL Role Summary: Responsible for monitoring and ensuring the seamless operation of applications and data flows. Quickly identify, troubleshoot, and resolve anomalies, perform data reprocessing corrections, and collaborate with internal teams, integrators, and clients to maintain data integrity and application reliability. Expectations: - Perform daily monitoring of applications and data pipelines. - Actively engage with stakeholders to resolve incidents and support application needs. - Deliver timely fixes for data quality and system performance issues. - Document processes, incidents, and corrective actions. - Operate autonomously while adhering to rigorous analysis standards. Key Responsibilities: - Daily surveillance of production applications and data streams. - Identify and diagnose anomalies in application behavior or data quality. - Execute data reprocessing, corrections, and maintenance scripts. - Coordinate with internal support teams, external integrators, and clients to address issues. - Escalate critical incidents and drive root‑cause analysis. - Maintain accurate incident logs and post‑mortem reports. - Contribute to the refinement of monitoring tools and procedures. Required Skills: - Advanced proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL. - Strong Unix/Linux shell scripting capabilities. - Experience in application exploitation or support, preferably in mission‑critical environments. - Analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail. - Self‑driven, dependable, and able to work independently. - Effective communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Professional certification in Oracle SQL/PLSQL or equivalent database technology is desirable.
