Job title: Senior AI Engineer (ML/DL)
Role Summary: Lead the design, development, and integration of machine‑learning and deep‑learning models for automotive applications, including autonomous driving, manufacturing, and design. Drive end‑to‑end solution creation, from research to deployment, while ensuring safety, testability, and scalability.
Expectations: Work independently in a high‑ambiguity environment; originate novel AI concepts, prototype them, and transition to production. Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, research, and regulatory teams. Represent technical vision at conferences and in technical communities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance existing ML modules for autonomous vehicles.
- Design and implement new ML approaches using state‑of‑the‑art frameworks.
- Stay current with academic research and industry advances.
- Coordinate with global engineering teams on autonomous driving software.
- Transfer technologies to broader development divisions.
- Produce technical specifications, documentation, and model artifacts.
- Present findings at external technical events.
Required Skills:
- 6–8 years professional experience post‑graduate; 4+ years deep‑learning expertise.
- Master’s in Computer Science or equivalent; PhD strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in deep‑learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).
- Advanced knowledge of CNNs, RNNs, Transformers, and vision tasks (object detection, segmentation).
- Expertise in traditional ML algorithms, feature engineering, and data preprocessing.
- Experience with NLP, multimodal modeling, and reinforcement learning.
- Model training, fine‑tuning, hyper‑parameter optimization.
- Deployment skills: Docker, Kubernetes, cloud AI services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong documentation and technical communication.
- Awareness of AI ethics, bias mitigation, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (mandatory).
- PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related discipline (preferred).
