Job Description
Job Title: Director of Sales – Distribution EMEA Role Summary: Strategic sales leader responsible for driving revenue growth across the EMEA region through the development and management of a high‑performance distribution network. Leads a regional team, establishes and nurtures strategic partner relationships, and collaborates cross‑functionally to align partner programs with product roadmap and market needs. Expectations: - Achieve or exceed annual sales targets and revenue growth goals. - Expand market coverage and strengthen the brand’s presence through robust partner engagement. - Deliver measurable KPIs and maintain high partner satisfaction and performance. Key Responsibilities: - Identify, onboard, and cultivate strategic partnerships with resellers, OEMs, and integrated channel partners. - Build and manage a diversified distributor network to ensure optimal coverage and performance. - Define and track partner KPIs; conduct quarterly performance reviews and adjust strategies accordingly. - Monitor competitive landscape (pricing, product launches, promotions) and adjust positioning. - Set annual sales objectives and lead initiatives to increase revenue and market share. - Conduct regular site visits to key distributors; resolve complex partner issues in a non‑exclusive network. - Collaborate with Product Management to identify integration opportunities and co‑innovation initiatives. - Work with Marketing to design and execute joint campaigns (webinars, events, partner content). - Lead, coach, and develop the regional distribution team, setting priorities and ensuring delivery quality. - Represent the organization at partner events, conferences, and industry meetings. - Negotiate partnership agreements and integration plans; oversee partner enablement tools (video, training, onboarding materials). - Manage equipment loan agreements, coordinate annual inventory audits, and ensure asset accountability. Required Skills: - Proven senior sales leadership experience in industrial technology or software sectors. - Deep understanding of channel distribution management and partner enablement. - Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast‑changing, multicultural environment. - Fluency in English; additional European languages a plus. - Willingness and ability to travel frequently within EMEA. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field. - Advanced sales or channel management certifications (e.g., Certified Channel Manager) preferred.
