Job Description: Job title: Statistician Role Summary: Provide quantitative analysis support within the CQI Statistics team, managing data quality, developing predictive models, and producing analytical reports for program leadership and research stakeholders. Expactations: Deliver accurate statistical guidance, ensure data integrity, construct and validate predictive models, and present findings in clear formats suitable for diverse audiences. Key Responsibilities: - Execute standardized analytic plans and support data analytics for assigned programs. - Develop predictive, prognostic, and machine‑learning models using regression, hierarchical, and survival analysis techniques. - Perform exploratory data analysis, data cleaning, merging, and transformation of large datasets. - Conduct quality assurance testing and evaluate data structures to maintain accuracy and consistency. - Create reports, manuscripts, visual dashboards, and custom research outputs using SAS, Python, R, or equivalent tools. - Provide customer support to program teams and coordinate cross‑departmental statistician meetings. Required Skills: - Proficiency in SAS; experience with Python, R, SQL, and macros for data manipulation. - Strong background in statistical methods: linear/logistic regression, model selection, mixed hierarchical modeling, survival analysis. - Ability to develop and validate predictive models and apply machine‑learning techniques. - Data quality assurance, data cleaning, transformation, and merging expertise. - Creation of visual reports and dashboards; experience with reporting tools. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for conveying technical concepts. Required Education & Certifications: - Master’s degree in statistics, public health, social sciences, or related field with a strong quantitative focus. - 2+ years of statistical analysis experience preferred.
