Job Description: Job title: IT Systems and Security Intern Role Summary: A summer internship focused on hands‑on development and deployment of network and security solutions, supporting the firm’s IT and InfoSec teams in a collaborative environment. Expactations: Provide reliable, independent support for system design, implementation, documentation, and troubleshooting; communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams; maintain compliance with security best practices; meet project deadlines with minimal downtime. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in creating security‑control implementation plans to close identified InfoSec gaps. - Deploy InfoSec and system enhancements across multiple office sites. - Produce clear technical documentation for solutions implemented. - Troubleshoot and resolve development‑stage issues. - Collaborate with IT, admin, and consulting staff to coordinate day‑to‑day operations and project rollouts. Required Skills: - Knowledge of security and network best practices (Layer 2/3, firewalls, cabling). - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work independently and in team settings. - Valid driver’s license with an insurable record.
