Job Description
**Job Title:** Group & Seminar Sales Manager **Role Summary:** Accountable for driving revenue from group, corporate, and seminar clients, from initial inquiry to seamless event execution. Works closely with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and maintain client satisfaction. **Expectations:** - Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets for group and seminar business. - Maintain consistent pipeline growth and client engagement. - Represent the organization at external events and business functions to enhance brand visibility. **Key Responsibilities:** - Receive, qualify, and process group, corporate, and seminar requests. - Prepare and present commercial proposals, quotations, and contracts. - Follow up on proposals, negotiate terms, and secure bookings. - Coordinate event logistics with internal departments (housekeeping, catering, AV). - Manage client visits during stays, resolve issues, and ensure service excellence. - Prospect new business opportunities and build a local network of corporate contacts. - Contribute to marketing and promotional initiatives to increase brand awareness. - Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and results in CRM systems. **Required Skills:** - Proven sales experience in hotel or event management (≥2 years). - Strong commercial acumen and client‑service orientation. - Excellent organization, multitasking, and deadline‑management abilities. - Proficient in MS Office and hotel‑specific software (e.g., PMS/CRM). - Fluency in French and English; additional language skills advantageous. - Professional demeanor, persuasive communication, and proactive problem‑solving. **Required Education & Certifications:** - High‑school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred. - No mandatory certifications, but hospitality‑industry certificates (e.g., Certified Hotel Sales Professional) are a plus.
