Job Description
Job title: Senior Business Development Manager – Luxury Travel Role Summary: Strategic sales and account lead for high‑profile luxury travel clients. Drives revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion across a global luxury portfolio through data‑driven strategies, partnership management, and cross‑functional collaboration. Expectations: - Deliver measurable revenue and growth targets within assigned luxury accounts. - Build and sustain long‑term relationships with C‑suite and decision‑makers. - Innovate and adapt solutions to evolving luxury market demands. - Maintain compliance and accurate reporting in all activities. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and nurture long‑term partnerships with luxury travel clients. - Analyze performance data and client business plans to craft tailored growth strategies. - Negotiate and secure commercial agreements that increase sales, profitability, and product adoption. - Collaborate with Retail, Pricing, Marketing, CTS, and Operations to optimise technical integrations, pricing, and campaigns. - Conduct regular stakeholder meetings to review progress, share insights, and co‑create initiatives. - Introduce new initiatives and adapt to market changes while maintaining a customer‑centric focus. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and deliver accurate performance reporting. Required Skills: - 5+ years senior sales/account management in luxury travel retail. - Proven ability to design and execute complex growth strategies and influence senior stakeholders. - Strong commercial acumen with P&L, pricing and profitability expertise. - Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, Salesforce, Salesloft; data analysis capability. - Clear communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; ability to engage C‑suite. - Technical understanding of APIs and collaboration with tech teams. - Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and results‑driven with proactive problem‑solving. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Tourism, Hospitality or related field. - Fluent English and proficiency in a secondary source market language (preferred). - No specific certifications required, but knowledge of industry standards and compliance is expected.
