Job Description
Job Title: PR Coordinator, Impact Role Summary: Coordinate daily public relations activities for Impact clients, creating media strategies, pitching stories, managing media lists, sample trafficking, monitoring placements, and preparing client reports. Assist senior team with internship program oversight. Expectations: - Meet deadlines for pitches, placements, and reporting. - Demonstrate proactive, detail‑oriented work habits. - Build and nurture media and client relationships. - Balance multiple priorities while maintaining a positive attitude. Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop and maintain comprehensive media lists for national and regional outlets. 2. Brainstorm creative pitches and brand‑building opportunities for clients. 3. Pitch and secure product placements, feature stories, and brand stories across online, print, broadcast, and podcast media. 4. Draft call agendas; communicate action items post‑meeting. 5. Coordinate sample trafficking: inbound requests, gifting, returns. 6. Track all media placements; update internal tracking systems. 7. Assist with calendar, asset, and product inventory management. 8. Produce monthly client reporting. 9. Collaborate with Office Manager and senior team to define intern needs and tasks. Required Skills: - Media relations knowledge and pitch development. - Strong written and verbal communication. - Organizational, multitasking, and time‑management skills. - Proficiency with reporting tools, spreadsheets, and media monitoring software. - Ability to build relationships with media, clients, and team members. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree (any discipline). - Prior internship experience in PR or media relations. - COVID‑19 vaccination required; accommodations available for disability or religious reasons.
