Job Description: Job Title: Senior Java Backend Engineer Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java‑based backend services for high‑traffic platforms, ensuring performance, reliability, and quality. Expactations: Own deliverables, collaborate across Architecture, Product, and Operations teams, actively participate in design reviews, and work independently in a fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities: - Build and maintain RESTful APIs and event‑driven services using Java. - Design distributed systems, leveraging Kafka or similar messaging platforms. - Implement and optimize SQL and NoSQL data solutions. - Conduct code reviews, participate in technical design discussions, and enforce coding standards. - Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of production‑grade systems. - Take responsibility for system ownership from design through deployment and operational support.
