Job title: UX Designer – Digital
Role Summary:
Lead end‑to‑end user experience design for digital products, ensuring simplicity, performance, and alignment with user and stakeholder needs. Work closely with product, engineering, and business teams to map journeys, prototype solutions, and iterate based on user feedback within an agile framework. Champion UX culture across teams through workshops, knowledge sharing, and advocacy.
Expactations:
- Deliver high‑quality UX deliverables (user journeys, wireframes, interactive prototypes, mockups).
- Conduct user research, interviews, usability tests, and synthesize findings to inform design decisions.
- Collaborate with PO/PM, engineering, and design system owners to guarantee functionality, consistency, and technical feasibility.
- Promote inclusive design by applying accessibility best practices and ergonomic guidelines.
- Facilitate cross‑functional workshops, contributing to the adoption of UX practices company‑wide.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Define UX scope, conduct user research, create personas, journey maps, and pain‑point analyses.
2. Design and iterate low‑ and high‑ fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and visual mockups using industry tools.
3. Plan and run usability tests, analyze results, and iterate designs to optimize user flow and overall experience.
4. Partner with product, engineering, and design system teams to align on feature feasibility and implementation guidance.
5. Deliver UX workshops and presentations to educate stakeholders and embed a design‑centric mindset.
6. Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint reviews, retrospectives, stand‑ups) to ensure timely delivery of UX artifacts.
Required Skills:
- Strong expertise in user research methods, journey mapping, usability testing, and data‑driven design iterations.
- Proficiency in prototyping and wireframing tools (Figma, Illustrator, Sketch, or equivalent).
- Deep understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and stakeholder management; ability to influence non‑design teams.
- Experience working in agile environments, collaborating with PO/PM and engineering.
- Capability to simplify complex problems and translate user needs into intuitive solutions.
- Analytical mindset; strong attention to detail and methodological rigor.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (Bac+5) or equivalent in Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field.
- UX Design certification or proven professional experience in UX design; knowledge of design system implementation is a plus.
