Job title: Information Technology Support Engineer Role Summary: Provide first- and second-line technical support for a managed services contract, handling infrastructure and security alerts within an SOC environment. Serve as the main point of contact for a large client, performing hardware maintenance, vendor coordination, and documentation upkeep, while working in a 12‑hour rotating shift schedule (4 days on, 4 days off). Expactations: • 12‑hour rotating shift (day/night) with 4‑day on/4‑day off cycle. • Rapid response to infrastructure and EDR alerts. • Maintain accurate KB articles and procedural documentation. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver 1st and 2nd line support via phone, email, and remote sessions. • Monitor and triage infrastructure alerts and EDR incidents in a SOC setting. • Execute hardware break/fix tasks and coordinate with customers and vendors. • Update and manage knowledge base content. Required Skills: • 2+ years of technical support experience (or equivalent potential). • Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, connectivity, and security products. • Excellent customer‑facing communication and composure under pressure. • Ability to work independently during rotating shifts.
