**Job Title:** Mechanical Supervisor/Scheduler **Role Summary** Lead and coordinate mechanical maintenance operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely execution while managing a technical team. Bridge maintenance activities with production and engineering priorities to optimize operational performance. **Expectations** - Proactively schedule, supervise, and coordinate maintenance work with a focus on health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance, quality, cost control, and operational continuity. - Act as a line manager for a team of mechanical technicians, prioritizing work distribution, delivering performance feedback, and supporting attendance management. - Serve as a technical leader for on-call maintenance responsibilities after onboarding. **Key Responsibilities** - Schedule, execute, and monitor daily maintenance tasks, organizing toolbox meetings and closing feedback loops with technicians. - Coordinate cross-departmental priorities with production and engineering teams. - Administer SAP systems for time tracking, maintenance history, and administrative reporting. - Direct and mentor a team of 17 technicians, fostering technical skill development and team performance. - Ensure adherence to HSE standards, work permits, and process safety protocols. **Required Skills** - Strong technical mechanical expertise and prior supervisory/coordination experience. - Proficiency in HSE standards, work permit procedures, and process safety. - Experience with SAP and MS Office, with ability to analyze and prioritize maintenance workflows. - Structured planning/organizational skills, with adaptability to operational changes. - Cross-functional communication skills to build stakeholder networks and resolve conflicts. - Natural leadership abilities, including team coaching and performance management. **Required Education & Certifications** - Technical mechanical education (e.g., diploma/diploma-level certification). - Fluency in Dutch (required), basic English proficiency.
