Vice President of Supply Chain
**Role Summary**
Executive leader responsible for full ownership of Kiddom’s physical product supply chain, including print, kits, trade books, inventory, fulfillment, logistics, systems, and vendor strategy. Ensures operational readiness, especially for Back‑to‑School, through proactive planning, rigorous financial discipline, and system reliability. Reports to the CEO and drives customer trust, margin performance, and scalability.
**Expectations**
- Deep understanding of curriculum portfolio complexities and overlapping launch timelines.
- Proactive, not reactive, planning with documented execution plans, owners, timelines, and risk mitigation.
- Clear visibility of team workload, capacity, and performance.
- Financial rigor in all purchasing and vendor decisions.
- Systems ownership and early risk escalation with solutions.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Own end‑to‑end supply chain operations: planning, execution, risk management, and vendor strategy.
- Personally drive timelines for print, kits, trade books, and vendor contracts.
- Establish accountability structures and operating cadences.
- Lead team performance, growth, and role expansion.
- Develop detailed Back‑to‑School print and fulfillment plans per curriculum.
- Partner with Finance and Sales to translate revenue forecasts into procurement and inventory plans.
- Enforce cost discipline, competitive bidding, and vendor spend justification.
- Own inventory strategy across on‑demand, stocked, and hybrid models, integrating digital adoption data.
- Lead ERP (NetSuite) implementation, improvement, and workflow enforcement.
- Ensure accurate month‑end close and revenue recognition.
- Maintain stable fulfillment operations during surge demand; monitor throughput and service levels.
- Early intervention to rebalance capacity or vendor support when risks arise.
**Required Skills**
- Supply chain management with end‑to‑end ownership in high‑volume environments.
- Strategic planning and execution across multiple product lines.
- Vendor negotiation, contract management, and financial oversight.
- ERP and inventory systems expertise (preferably NetSuite).
- Demand forecasting and inventory optimization.
- Performance management and team scaling.
- Strong analytical and risk‑management abilities.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Professional certification (CSCP, APICS, or equivalent) strongly desired.
