Junior Salesforce Administrator
Job Description
Job Title: Junior Salesforce Administrator Role Summary: Supports the Senior Salesforce Administrator in managing, configuring, and enhancing the Salesforce Sales Cloud environment. Works with business stakeholders and external developers to deliver project-based solutions, improve integrations, and maintain documentation. Expectations: Deliver accurate and timely configuration changes, adhere to best practices and Agile methodology, provide technical guidance, and stay current with Salesforce releases. Operate independently while collaborating within cross‑functional teams and occasionally traveling for training or meetings. Key Responsibilities: • Configure and test custom objects, page layouts, workflow rules, validation rules, and Process Builder flows. • Assist in maintaining and upgrading Salesforce integrations that sync data with external systems. • Provide technical support and establish standards for the Sales Cloud instance. • Translate business requirements into Salesforce configurations and identify opportunities for custom development. • Update and maintain application documentation and change logs. • Participate in peer review testing and validate functional development. • Recommend enhancements based on new Salesforce features and releases. Required Skills: • 2+ years of experience administering Salesforce Sales Cloud (or equivalent). • Proficiency in Salesforce configuration, including custom objects, workflows, Process Builder, and validation rules. • Understanding of Agile project management principles. • Ability to assess effort for development tasks and translate business needs into technical solutions. • Strong problem‑solving, troubleshooting, and oral/written communication skills. • Self‑driven and collaborative team player. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience. • Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM201) is preferred.
