Job Description
Job Title: Business Analyst – Workday / SAP HR/Payroll Role Summary: Analyze HR technology requirements, translate business needs into functional specifications, and support integration, testing, and production operations across Workday, SAP, and ADP platforms. Work closely with HR, payroll, IT, and cross‑functional teams in Agile environments to drive continuous improvement in employee lifecycle processes. Expectations: - 5+ years of business/system analysis experience in HR technology settings. - Proven track record of delivering functional specifications, UAT, and data validation for Workday, SAP, and ADP systems. - Ability to manage integration projects using EIB, Core Connectors, APIs, or middleware. - Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills. - Self‑sufficient in a fast‑paced, tech‑driven organization with strict audit and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities: - Gather, document, and analyze business requirements for Workday HCM, SAP HR/Payroll, and ADP. - Translate requirements into functional specifications, workflows, and integration designs. - Support and troubleshoot Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, custom APIs) with SAP and third‑party systems. - Manage UAT, regression testing, and data validation activities. - Ensure data accuracy, audit readiness, and compliance across HRIS platforms. - Provide production support and incident resolution for HRIS issues. - Maintain comprehensive documentation for processes, configurations, and change management. - Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams with engineers, analysts, and product owners. Required Skills: - Advanced knowledge of Workday HCM (Core HR, Time Tracking, Benefits, Payroll). - Experience with SAP HR or SAP Payroll, and familiarity with ADP systems. - Proven ability to support system integrations and data flows between HR platforms. - Hands‑on experience with UAT, regression testing, and data validation. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative tools (Jira, Confluence). - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills. - Basic SQL, and experience with reporting tools such as Tableau or Looker is desirable. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Computer Science, or related field. - Professional Workday certification (e.g., Workday HCM Core, Workday Analytics) is a plus. - Any relevant SAP or ADP certification is an advantage.
