Athlete Manager – TikTok Operations (North America)
**Role Summary**
Manage and nurture the relationship with athletes on TikTok, ensuring smooth onboarding, contract coordination, and day‑to‑day operational support. Act as a liaison between the Athlete community and cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality experiences, optimize processes, and align athlete activities with global creator strategies.
**Expectations**
- Deliver consistent, high‑quality support to athletes, resolving platform and operational issues promptly.
- Coordinate all operational aspects of athlete partnership programs (contracts, payments, deliverables, onboarding).
- Maintain detailed documentation, tracking, and reporting across multiple athlete cohorts.
- Provide data‑driven insights, identify improvement opportunities, and advocate for athlete needs with internal stakeholders.
- Champion DEI, TikTok for Good, and cross‑functional initiatives, sharing playbooks and resources.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Resolve platform issues, manage verification requests, and ensure a seamless athlete experience.
2. Coordinate contracts, payments, deliverables, and account setup for athlete partnership programs.
3. Oversee onboarding and verification workflows for new athletes.
4. Maintain organized trackers, reporting tools, and dashboards to monitor program status and deliverables.
5. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for program execution, approvals, communications, and reporting.
6. Compile updates, track progress against objectives, and highlight process efficiencies.
7. Provide logistical support for large‑scale athlete initiatives and sports activations.
8. Evaluate and onboard creators against eligibility criteria and business priorities.
9. Host meetings (in‑person or virtual) to share best practices, content strategies, and product updates.
10. Use dashboards to analyze portfolio performance and inform content strategy.
11. Gather creator feedback, establish feedback loops with Product, Research, Strategy, Policy, and Publishers teams.
12. Support DEI and TikTok for Good initiatives, localizing resources when appropriate.
13. Monitor urgent athlete issues, partner with XFN teams to advocate for support needs.
14. Highlight success stories and case studies for education initiatives and campaigns.
15. Collaborate with Marketing, Public Policy, and Communications on advocacy initiatives.
16. Draft proposals and strategies for DEI, XFN campaigns, and innovation support.
