**Job Title**: R&D Project Manager
**Role Summary**:
Lead cross‑functional teams to plan, execute, and close new releases and End‑of‑Life (EOL) activities for premium Ultrasound products within the Healthcare Diagnostics division. Manage schedule, budget, resource allocation, design transfer, commercialization, and regulatory compliance across software, hardware, and medical device domains.
**Expectations**:
- Deliver projects on time, within budget, and according to regulatory standards.
- Drive team alignment, communication, and risk mitigation for successful product lifecycle transitions.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and maintain project plans, resource schedules, and budgets using Microsoft Project or equivalent.
- Coordinate with Software, Hardware, System, Ultrasound, Acoustic, and Transducer engineering teams to define milestones and deliverables.
- Partner with manufacturing, procurement, marketing, regulatory, service, and sustaining teams to execute design transfer and commercialization plans.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks; propose and monitor mitigation actions.
- Produce regular status reports to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and timely decision‑making.
- Facilitate weekly project meetings, decisions, and action item tracking.
- Motivate and align team members to meet project objectives.
- Support first‑year EOL roadmap creation, milestone establishment, and execution; devise new EOL workflow processes as needed.
**Required Skills**:
- Project management tools: Microsoft Project (or equivalent).
- Project planning, scheduling, and budgeting for multi‑disciplinary medical device projects.
- Risk management and mitigation.
- Strong written and verbal communication in English.
- Experience leading global, cross‑functional teams.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for class II/III medical devices.
**Required Education & Certifications**:
- BS/BA in Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent combined education/experience.
- 5+ years of project management experience in medical device development (software, hardware, and devices).
- PMP certification (preferred).
**Nice to Have**:
- Engineering degree in any discipline.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Monday.com, and additional Microsoft Project expertise.
