Job Title: Project Management Officer
Role Summary
Act as a versatile project leader within the General Secretariat, driving Volkswagen Financial Services’ transformation agenda. Manage, coordinate, and oversee strategic initiatives across the front- and back-office, ensuring alignment with governance, data, and ESG objectives. Adapt role between project manager, PMO, business analyst, or stream leader to meet project-specific needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, vision, objectives and deliverables; create robust schedules, resource plans, and budgets.
- Lead project execution, monitor progress, manage risks/issues, and enforce quality controls.
- Facilitate and animate governance meetings (steering committees, status briefs, decision points).
- Provide PMO oversight for program/portfolio: consolidate plans, risks, dependencies, and action plans; deliver concise, actionable reports to executives and sponsors.
- Conduct business analysis: capture stakeholder needs, evaluate alternatives through impact/variance studies, develop scenarios and recommendations.
- Support change management: design communication, training, and user readiness plans; ensure smooth transition to RUN and capture lessons learned.
- Participate in Secretariat initiatives: resolve audit action items, update internal procedures, produce ad‑hoc analytical reports.
Required Skills
- Proven project management and PMO experience; ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and influence skills.
- Risk, issue and change management; planning and scheduling expertise.
- Analytical capability: business process analysis, data governance, ESG considerations.
- Leadership, teamwork, adaptability, and problem‑solving.
- Proficiency with PM tools (MS Project, Jira, MS Office, etc.).
- Fluency in English (written & spoken).
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s +4/5 (Master’s level) in Commerce, Marketing, Finance, Law, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of senior project or PMO roles, preferably in banking, insurance or automotive sectors.
- PMP, Prince2, or Agile certification preferred but not mandatory.
