Job title: Associate Product Manager
Role Summary: Support the Product Management team by driving product development from ideation through launch, conducting user research, defining features, and coordinating with engineering, analytics, and go‑to‑market teams.
Expactations: Collaborate with senior Product Managers to deliver high‑quality product increments, enable cross‑functional alignment, ensure features meet defined success metrics, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders throughout all product phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Product Manager to outline and own the product roadmap for assigned product lines.
- Define user personas, identify user problems, and act as a user evangelist.
- Conduct customer and market research, validate pain points, and become an internal subject‑matter expert.
- Analyze usage data of existing products to assess performance against goals.
- Perform competitor analysis and flag competitive threats.
- Scope and estimate new product features with engineering, clarifying effort and timelines.
- Validate product hypotheses through surveys, analytics, A/B testing, and usability studies.
- Lead research initiatives and oversee Business Analysts’ work on the product team.
- Host brainstorming, interview, and usability sessions with end users.
- Write clear user stories with acceptance criteria and create simplified wireframes and design mocks to illustrate product flow.
- Participate in grooming, stand‑ups, and post‑mortems, negotiating feature builds with engineering.
- Conduct product reviews, obtain sign‑offs, and coordinate user testing to ensure delivered features match commitments.
- Support go‑to‑market strategy, including marketing and sales enablement communications for new features.
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
- Experience with user research methodologies (interviews, surveys, analytics).
- Familiarity with Agile product development practices.
- Ability to write user stories, acceptance criteria, and basic wireframes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Collaborative mindset with cross‑functional teams (engineering, analytics, marketing, sales).
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 1–3 years of product management or related experience.
- Proficiency in product analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude) and basic design/mockup tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch).
