Job Description
Job title: Functional Safety & SOTIF Engineer (Mid / Senior) – ADAS & Chassis Role Summary: Lead safety engineering activities for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems and chassis components, ensuring compliance with ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) and ISO 21448 (SOTIF). Own the creation and maintenance of safety artefacts, drive safety analysis processes, and provide technical guidance to engineering teams. Expectations: - Mid-level (2–5 years) or Senior (>5 years) experience in Functional Safety and/or SOTIF. - Strong grasp of automotive safety processes, system-level safety analysis, and safety lifecycle. - Proven track record delivering safety artefacts (HARA, Functional Safety Concept, Safety Case). - Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross‑functional and international stakeholders. - English proficiency required; German proficiency is a plus.
