Job Description

**Job title:** Senior/Staff Fullstack Engineer **Role Summary:** Lead end‑to‑end ownership of full‑stack Python/TypeScript/Rust applications, driving technology strategy, product design, and engineering excellence in a fast‑growing healthtech environment. **Expectations:** - Own the technical direction and quality across Python, TypeScript, Rust, SolidJS, Django, and Postgres stacks. - Collaborate closely with product, design, clinical, and regulatory teams to deliver patient‑centric solutions. - Mentor new hires, mature engineering processes, and influence company‑wide technical standards. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and maintain large‑scale Django/Postgres back‑ends and SolidJS front‑ends. - Evaluate and select new technologies, ensuring alignment with product and regulatory needs. - Write production‑grade Vanilla JS or TypeScript code, leveraging modern web practices. - Work with Python codebases, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability. - Guide cross‑disciplinary teams on best practices, security, and user experience. - Mentor junior developers and contribute to hiring and onboarding. **Required Skills:** - Deep experience with Python (Django, async frameworks) and modern JavaScript/TypeScript (SolidJS, React). - Proficiency in building both MVC server‑side and fully client‑side SPAs. - Strong understanding of Postgres database design and optimization. - Comfortable working with Rust or similar compiled‑to‑JS languages. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills across product, design, and regulatory functions. - User‑focused mindset: prioritize building the right solution before perfecting implementation. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent technical field. - Relevant certifications in Python or JavaScript frameworks preferred (e.g., Django, React, TypeScript).
