Job Title: Cloud/DevOps Lead Role Summary: Lead end‑to‑end migration of customer‑facing digital applications from on‑premises to AWS Cloud, design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and apply cloud‑native architectures (serverless, containers) while ensuring security, scalability, and performance. Expectations: - Deliver successful lift‑and‑shift or re‑platform migrations within defined timelines. - Demonstrate measurable improvements in deployment frequency, reliability, and cost efficiency. - Mentor and influence teams toward automation‑first practices and cloud best practices. Key Responsibilities: 1. Architect and execute migration of on‑premises applications to AWS Cloud. 2. Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment. 3. Refactor Java/Angular codebases to serverless (AWS Lambda) or containerized (ECS Fargate) solutions. 4. Collaborate with developers for debugging and performance tuning of Java and Angular workloads. 5. Deploy and manage centralized logging (CloudWatch) and monitoring solutions. 6. Implement infrastructure automation using Terraform or equivalent IaC tools. 7. Enforce application and cloud security via IAM, Cognito, JWT, and security best practices. 8. Required Skills: - 8+ years in software development and DevOps engineering. - Deep experience with on‑prem and AWS cloud application deployment. - Hands‑on Java and Angular development background. - Proficient with AWS services: Lambda, ECS Fargate, CloudWatch, IAM, Cognito, and related security architecture. - Experienced with CI/CD pipeline tooling (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI). - Skilled in Terraform (or similar IaC) for automated infrastructure provisioning. - Strong understanding of cloud‑native architecture and security best practices. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentorship abilities.
