**Role Summary**
Provide regulatory and advisory compliance support across EMEA for a growing fintech/SaaS firm. Interpret UK/EU frameworks, develop practical guidance, and collaborate with Legal, Risk, Product, and Commercial teams to embed a strong compliance culture. Drive audit preparation, regulatory reviews, and internal controls in a fast‑paced, product‑led environment.

- Influence stakeholders across product, commercial, and risk functions to ensure compliance considerations are integrated into decision‑making.

- Maintain proactive communication with internal and external regulatory bodies, and support external audit teams.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Interpret UK and EU regulatory frameworks (e.g., PSD2, FCA, GDPR) for fintech and SaaS products.
- Draft and update compliance policies, procedures, and controls; translate regulations into practical guidance.
- Partner with Legal, Risk, Product, and Commercial teams to embed compliance into product development and commercial processes.
- Coordinate regulatory reviews, audits, and internal control testing; prepare required documentation and evidence.
- Drive initiatives that promote a robust compliance culture; conduct training and awareness sessions as needed.
- Monitor regulatory changes, assess impact, and recommend updates to processes and controls.
- Provide insights and recommendations on emerging regulatory risks to executives and stakeholders.
**Required Skills**
- Strong knowledge of UK/EU regulatory frameworks affecting fintech, SaaS, and payment services.
- Demonstrated experience in compliance advisory, audit support, and regulatory reviews.
- Ability to translate complex regulations into clear, actionable business guidance.
- Excellent cross‑functional collaboration and stakeholder influence skills.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to balance regulatory requirements against business objectives.
- Proficiency in risk assessment, internal control design, and documentation.

**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, Regulatory Compliance, or related field.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), Certified Financial Services Auditor (CFSA), or equivalent are preferred.
