Job Description
Job title: International Market and Data Analyst (F/H) Role Summary: Analyze global and local market dynamics for a multinational infrastructure firm. Strengthen the group’s strategic intelligence by collecting, consolidating, and interpreting market and competitor data to inform business decisions and support operational units. Expectations: - Deliver actionable insights on market trends, competitor performance, and customer needs within required timelines. - Communicate findings clearly through concise reports and presentations to cross‑functional teams. - Maintain high analytical rigor, attention to detail, and client‑centric focus while executing tasks autonomously. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct market surveillance and studies for operating entities (countries, business lines, segments). - Track and analyze market outlooks, conditions, and competitive positioning across active countries. - Perform competitor intelligence on products, solutions, and sectors, including positioning analyses. - Organize and optimize data collection processes (data collect & web analytics). - Build and monitor specific KPIs; prepare regular reports and ad‑hoc analyses. - Present findings to internal stakeholders and recommend actionable responses. Required Skills: - Strong analytical aptitude with meticulous attention to detail. - Proven ability to synthesize research into clear, business‑oriented reports. - Proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced data handling skills (SQL, Python, BI tools) and web‑data extraction. - Familiarity with AI/machine‑learning tools for market analysis. - Excellent communication, listening, and adaptability; capable of working cross‑functionally. - Fluent in English; knowledge of French and/or other EU languages is a plus. Required Education & Certifications: - Master’s degree in Business, Political Science, or Engineering with a business focus. - 1–3 years experience in construction, industry, or consulting roles (market, data or strategy analysis).
