Job Description
Job Title Digital Systems Analyst / Digital Project Manager Role Summary Drive end‑to‑end digital transformation projects within an eCommerce context. Translate business needs into actionable user stories, functional specifications and workflow designs, while coordinating with internal teams and external software partners to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery and a seamless user experience. Expectations - Demonstrated experience in digital systems analysis, project management or digital transformation, preferably within eCommerce. - Strong grasp of digital platforms, eCommerce technologies, and UX principles. - Proven ability to write clear, actionable user stories and functional specs. - Excellent organisational skills enabling concurrent management of multiple projects. - Successful stakeholder management across functional and technical teams. - Familiarity with project tracking tools (Jira, Trello, CMS) and agile methodologies. Key Responsibilities - Collaborate with business stakeholders to capture, refine and prioritise digital requirements. - Map user and customer journeys, outlining system interactions for optimal experience. - Develop detailed functional specifications and user stories to guide development teams. - Serves as the primary liaison between business units and external software partners, ensuring alignment and schedule adherence. - Lead digital projects from concept to delivery, supporting the Head of Project Management and stepping into leadership roles when required. - Champion innovation, shaping systems that meet current and future digital/eCommerce needs. - Simplify complex technical requirements, keeping all stakeholders informed and aligned. Required Skills - Digital systems analysis and project management. - eCommerce platform knowledge (Shopify, Magento, etc.) and user experience design. - Agile software development, including user story creation and functional specification writing. - Strong problem‑solving and stakeholder engagement. - Organisational and multitasking capabilities. - Tools: Jira, Trello, CMS platforms. - Leadership potential; proactive collaboration. Required Education & Certifications - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred). - Professional certifications such as PMP, Prince2, or Agile (Scrum Master) are an advantage.
