Job Description
**Job Title** UI Developer **Role Summary** Design, develop, and maintain HMI/SCADA user interfaces for packaging machinery. Collaborate with controls engineers and cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver scalable, reliable software solutions that align with UX strategies and product requirements. **Expectations** - Lead HMI/SCADA concept creation and functional development. - Deliver code that is efficient, maintainable, and meets quality standards. - Conduct release activities, documentation, and training. - Communicate progress, risks, and delays to stakeholders. - Resolve issues locally and remotely, providing timely solutions. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Create and modify HMI/SCADA screen layouts and functionalities. 2. Develop and maintain C#‑based applications using OOP principles. 3. Apply UX development guidelines to align with new strategic HMI/SCADA design. 4. Host feedback sessions with internal users (Test and Service Technicians). 5. Produce detailed release notes and system documentation. 6. Provide training on new developments and general screen operations. 7. Troubleshoot and review local and remote programs, recommending resolution paths. 8. Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand‑ups, sprints, retrospectives). 9. Collaborate with controls engineering and UI teams on integration and testing. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in C#; experience with JavaScript, Java, C++, Python, or Swift. - Familiarity with source‑control systems (Bitbucket, GitHub). - Knowledge of packaging machinery (preferred). - Strong debugging, problem‑solving, and analytical abilities. - Effective communication – verbal, written, and collaborative. - Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines. - Experience with Agile development practices. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent, *or* - Associate’s degree in Engineering with relevant experience. ---
