Job Description
Job Title: Salesforce Administrator Role Summary: Lead the administration, configuration, and optimization of the Salesforce platform, including CPQ, to support sales, service, and field service operations. Ensure secure, high‑performance systems, implement automation, and drive continuous improvement. Expectations: Expect a proactive professional who standardizes Salesforce best practices, manages data quality, and delivers clear communication to end users. Must drive platform enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and stay current with releases and security requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Manage user setup, security, roles, and permissions. - Administer and maintain Salesforce environments and CPQ. - Design and deploy custom workflows, process builders, validation rules, and Lightning components. - Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support business metrics. - Perform data audits, migrations, and hygiene processes. - Oversee integrations with key business systems. - Support field‑service functions: work orders, scheduling, mobile app. - Identify and leverage underutilized features for workflow automation. - Develop training materials and conduct user education sessions. - Communicate platform changes to stakeholders. - Monitor system performance, troubleshoot, and apply upgrades or patches. - Document configurations, procedures, and compliance records. Required Skills: - Proven Salesforce Administration (3–5 years). - Strong CPQ implementation experience. - Data management and governance expertise. - Familiarity with Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components (preferred). - Knowledge of information‑security principles. - Excellent problem‑solving, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree. - Salesforce Administrator Certification (mandatory). - CPQ Specialist Certification (preferred).
