Job title: Sales Manager – France
Role Summary
Lead commercial development and manage key customer relationships in the French market for a food industry client. Own the full sales cycle across ethnic retail, mainstream retail, HoReCa, and B2B channels, driving revenue growth, profitability, and market penetration.
Expectations
- Deliver measurable sales growth in target channel segments.
- Negotiate and secure new listings with national retailers; maintain high service levels.
- Build and deepen relationships with existing accounts through regular visits and strategic planning.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with logistics, finance, marketing, and QA teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage existing key accounts: revenue, profitability, planning, forecasting, and customer service.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in retail, HoReCa, and B2B.
- Lead commercial negotiations for listings, promotions, and supply chain coordination.
- Conduct regular customer visits across France to support growth and partnership strengthening.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and adjust channel priorities accordingly.
- Represent the company at industry events and trade fairs.
- Ensure accurate order processing, documentation, issue resolution, and reporting.
- Provide analysis, insights, and recommendations to senior management.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of sales/account management in the French food industry; 2 + years in a managerial role.
- Proven success selling to GMS clients (Carrefour, Auchan, Monoprix, etc.).
- Experience in HoReCa and/or B2B channels highly desirable.
- Strong relationship management, negotiation, and commercial planning capabilities.
- Excellent organizational, follow‑through, reliability, and accountability.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM platforms.
- Fluent in French and English; knowledge of Korean is a plus.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- No specific certifications required, but business‑related credentials (e.g., MBA, sales certification) are a plus.
