Job Description
**Job Title:** Clinical Psychologist – Lifespan **Role Summary:** Provide primary clinical services, including diagnostic assessment, evidence‑based individual and group treatment, and consultation across the life span. Coordinate with inter‑disciplinary teams, contribute to clinical program development, supervise psychology residents, and engage in applied clinical research. **Expectations:** - Deliver clinically appropriate, evidence‑based psychological services to adults, children, and adolescents. - Consult with and support interdisciplinary teams in case conceptualization and treatment planning. - Supervise and mentor residents, and teach medical and health‑professional learners. - Engage in applied research and program evaluation. - Maintain licensure compliance and uphold professional and ethical standards. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and cognitive assessments for adults, children, and adolescents. - Deliver evidence‑based individual and group psychotherapy for a range of mental‑health conditions. - Provide clinical leadership and consultation to interdisciplinary staff. - Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical programs and services. - Supervise psychology residents and mentor medical students and other health‑professionals. - Plan and execute applied clinical research projects. - Ensure accurate clinical documentation, compliance with regulations, and timely interdisciplinary communication. - Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education activities. **Required Skills:** - Expertise in adult and child/adolescent psychodiagnostic testing and interpretation. - Proficiency in evidence‑based therapeutic modalities for individual and group settings. - Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork abilities. - Capacity to consult and collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team. - Cultural competency and knowledge of Indigenous health issues (asset). - Ability to supervise trainees and facilitate learning experiences. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from a CPA or APA‑accredited program. - Completion of a CPA‑ or APA‑accredited internship or residency. - Eligibility for registration as a Psychologist (C.Psych.) with the Psychological Association of Manitoba. - Demonstrated experience in adult evidence‑based interventions and child/adolescent assessment and treatment. *(Vehicle ownership and a valid driver’s licence are required for occasional regional travel.)*
