**Job Title:**
AI Engineer (IV)
**Role Summary:**
Design, deploy, and manage Azure‑based AI infrastructure and associated cloud services. Oversee full lifecycle of AI resources, including infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, patch management, disaster recovery, and production support within a mission‑critical environment.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 10+ years total experience in enterprise Azure operations and AI deployments.
- Proven track record of executing large‑scale cloud migrations, maintaining high‑availability AI workloads, and implementing robust security and backup strategies.
- Strong command of Microsoft, networking, and security tooling, with ability to troubleshoot complex production issues.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead the implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of Azure AI resources (Azure ML, Cognitive Services, etc.).
- Develop and manage IaC templates (Terraform, Bicep, ARM) and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
- Perform regular patching, updates, and vulnerability remediation using tools such as SCCM, SCOM, and Tenable.
- Design and implement backup, recovery, and disaster‑recovery plans to ensure minimal downtime.
- Coordinate cloud migrations from on‑premises to Azure, including workload assessment and data transfer.
- Provide production support, troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysis for .NET, Java, SQL, Oracle, Dynamics, and other enterprise applications.
- Maintain network architecture, including VNET, VPN, and OSI layer configurations, ensuring secure connectivity.
- Collaborate with security teams to enforce identity access management and continuous compliance.
**Required Skills:**
- Azure AI, Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architecture.
- Infrastructure‑as‑Code: Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates.
- CI/CD, Azure DevOps, PowerShell scripting.
- Patch and deployment tools: SCCM, SCOM, Tenable.
- Backup/DR methodologies, disaster‑recovery planning.
- Cloud migration (on‑prem to Azure).
- Production support for .NET, Java, SQL, Oracle, Dynamics.
- Networking: OSI model, VPN, VNET, network protocols.
- Security fundamentals and vulnerability management.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Microsoft‑focused certifications: Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, Azure AI Engineer Associate (or higher).
- Networking certifications: Network+, CCNA (or equivalent).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred (not mandatory if certifications and experience meet requirements).
